Adding Angular Gauges for Sage CRM Opportunities

by Kristi Feng

Last week, I had a chance to test the FusionWidgets for Sage CRM 7.2 to create custom charts.

  • Two colors for the chart. 0 - 50% as yellow and 51 - 100% as green.

He...

Food for Thought: When Agriculture Meets Software Development Staff Augmentation

by Brian Terrell
When I'm really lucky, I lose myself in thoughts of what I have and forget those thoughts of what I want. I find it a much happier and healthier place to be. In the spirit of that, let's consider how agriculture intersects with software development staff augmentation.

I have citizenship in the U...

Exporting Data with SSIS, Part I

by Sheila Zhang
Exporting data from a database quite often is requested by a line of business or for data warehouse data updating.
For simple data transfer:
  •  The data can be managed inside a select query.
  •  The source data doesn’t need to merge with existing data at the destination.
You can use the SQL server import/export wizard if the data is transferred from the sourc...

Sales and Project Management Using Intacct and Sage CRM, Part 1

By Hrayr Galoyan
At CodePartners, we literally handle hundreds of opportunities per year. In three years since I joined, I alone worked on over 750 opportunities, big and small. Some of them converted into projects, and some were lost, but all needed attention and had to be tracked. And I am only one of the team members, analyzing the requirements, designing solutions, sending out proposals, manag...

      A Jump Start for RequireJS

      by Derek Du
It’s surprising how many senior JavaScript developers don’t know anything about JS Modular Programming. But come to think about it, if my code is working, why would I bother to learn all these AMD, CommonJS, RequireJS stuff? But once you understand it, JS modular programming really makes a big difference. Your code becomes much cleaner and it will require less effort to mai...

Using Windows Functions in SQL Server

      by Emma Tsai
As a business analyst, I not only work with clients to get the requirements, but also perform functional testing for software applications. Sometimes, I need to work with SQL server to do database query and compare the results while testing. Recently, I found using Windows functions to perform data analysis computations in SQL server is pretty handy.
      Basically, Windows aggregate funct...
