What’s the difference between the Great Wall of China and voice mail? One is a highly complex piece of engineering, designed to keep hordes of people out, and out of reach. The other is a large wall in China. Voice mail, we love it because it lets us ignore calls we dont want to answer, or prepare for calls we would rather take later. We hate it because it also let our prospects do the exact same thing-including ignoring calls from us! Like all business tools, voice mail can be a double-edged sword. The fact of the matter is, if you know to manage it, then you will never have to blame voice mail for not closing enough business deals. I really enjoyed this training session that Colleen hosted, but as someone who is trying to scale that great barrier, I thought some of our customers are approached or confronted daily with the same hurdle.
