Did the Edit Attachment button disappear from your Sage CRM?
There are multiple reasons you could loose that functionality. First, it is supported only on Internet Explorer. Second, it requires the Document Attachment plugin, also known as Document Drop plugin to be installed. The plugin is installed automatically when you access any page where it would be visible, for example the Calendar page in My CRM, or any Document tab under any entity. There is a catch though; the plugin currently only works in Internet Explorer compatibility mode. Here is how to enable it in version 11.
Then click on the Add button to add the CRM site to the compatibility list.
Log out and log back in to CRM. Then, navigate to any page that has documents on it, e.g., the Documents tab under an opportunity.
Sage CRM will prompt you to install the Document Drop plug in. Once it is installed, you will see the Document Drop icon on the right side. If you see the icon, you should be able to edit documents.
One more requirement is that the document status must be Draft to be able to edit it. Completed documents are not editable.
